Here is another one of my center games "Don't Spill the Beans".  This is a game to help students add the number of beats up.  The first player takes two cards and then add the two notes together.  This will be how many beans they will put on the bean pot.
You will need to purchase the game from any store that sells board games.  These are just the files that have the cards for the game. You can download the PowerPoint file or the PDF file, both of them contain the same thing.

Here are the direction to the game that I put with the center when the students play.  It includes a beat chart so they will know how many beats the note gets.

Here are my files for the game Don't Break the Ice.  It's a simple matching game where one player flips over a card and then they have to hammer out the ice cube that matches.  I have included both music notes and instruments.  I provided a PowerPoint version and a PDF file, both are the same.

This is an activity I created to help students practice reading rhythms and notes on the music staff.  I love to do a lot of hands on type activities.  Students will roll the dice and they will place the bug on their game board according to the dice.  They must read the rhythm before they place their bug or they will lose their dice.  If another player catches them not reading the rhythm or reading the rhythm wrong, then that player can steal their bug.  The goal of the game is to collect the most bugs. Players can earn extra bugs by flipping their frog in the pond.

Froggy Beats is an activity for identifying the number of beats each note or rest gets.  Students will work on making music math equations using dice and frogs with different notes on them.  The frog pieces are glued to clothespins. Students will clip the frogs to the lily pad.  There are 3 challenges for students to try.  I have included all the pieces needed for the activity.  You will need to purchase a few items on your own and you will need to take the time to assemble all the pieces.
